How to Make No Bake Cookies
I think you would love to learn the way to make no bake cookies by your own! Isn’t it? I guess, yes. I’m here to let you know what exactly the no bake cookie is and some basics of making it. Just roll your eyes through the lines below!
It has a history of long forgotten. In fact, theses cookies originate from ancient Middle East. At that time, the cooks loved to make this item by combining nuts, dried fruits, seeds and honey. It’s a great option while your kids are bothering you too much for some new meals. It’s very simple to assemble the ingredients and more simple to make as you don’t need to heat up the oven.
The popularity of these sorts of cookies is mounting day by day all through the United States. This happened during the time of “Great Depression” as people didn’t like to rely on the rationed items like sugar and eggs. As there was no problem to consume old cookies, it became popular from that time. Even now, it’s a very easy to make without any hitch.
Here, I’m going to elaborate the steps of making no bake cookies for the helpless moms!
First of all, you need to know about the required ingredients. Just remember that these sorts of cookies don’t require any ingredients like baking soda, eggs, flour as these are not prior to rise.
Though these cookies are not required to bake, some cookies like no bake Oatmeal cookies are needed to cook on the stove top whether Chocolate Coconut Patties require a toaster oven to arrange some of its ingredients before serving them. In general, no bake cookies only require a binder and a cookie base and a few other ingredients that can add texture within the cookies. Almost everyone likes to use melted chocolate as the binder. However, some cookies are often shaped into the balls.
Just follow these steps to make these cookies. Here, we go:
1.	You need to combine butter, milk, cocoa and sugar of ½ cup each within a big saucepan.
2.	You have to stir continuously with medium warmth until the mixture resumes a complete rolling bubble.
3.	Just boil 1 minute and then remove from the stove.
4.	After that, stir vanilla flavoring of 2 teaspoons, uncooked oats of 2 cups, and peanut butter of ½ cup. Try to mix them well.
5.	After pouring the mixture into a greased dish, you need to let them cool. You can also put them into the refrigerator for this.
6.	At the end, slice it into bars and then, enjoy your no bake cookies!
However, you must be cautious while boiling the mixture and it shouldn’t be more than 60 seconds, otherwise you will end up in a big mess!
Now, I think you can easily make them by your own. So, let’s just have a try!

Hello guys! I know its been a while since we actually been on here. I have attended a cookie convention and it was great! It was pretty good to taste all the no bake cookies that people created. Most of them were kind of sweet. I’m personally not used to sweet ones because I do tend to burn them. There were a lot of recipes that people used including the ones from the betty crocker recipes. I loved how they managed to add a few extra ingredients that made it taste so much better than the original one. However I didn’t like how they made some that just tasted like regular cookies. The ones were pictured above and we love to see how good they were and it ended up that people loved the ones I created. We posted some of our secret recipes that included some of the great innovations that we created. I went to my local grocery store and picked up some pre-made no baked cookies. Yuck! they were not the ones that Grandmother creates. I have seen ones that were much better and it was created by many of our great cooks.

There has been talk of a No Bake Cookie Competition but it was just a rumor that I heard from a fellow Chief. I seen many different ones from around the country. They were great for holiday events specially the ones that were made through the betty crocker recipes. If you want to check out the link above to see the good no bake cookies.

This is a good recipe I found online

Description:

A quick and easy sweet chocolate cookie with quick oats and coconut, made on the stove-top

Yield:

2 dozen

Ingredients:

2 cups sugar
1/3 cup baking cocoa (powder)
1/2 cup milk
6 tablespoons (3/4 stick) butter
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla
3 cups quick-cooking oats
1/3 cup coconut (or nuts of your choice)

Instructions:

1. In a large stock pot, combine sugar, cocoa, and milk, whisking until mixed. Measure oats and coconut in a bowl or large measuring cup and set aside.

2. Add butter and salt and then heat over medium to medium-high heat, stirring constantly, until butter is melted and mixture is smooth. (Use whisk to remove lumps if necessary.)

3. Continue heating and stirring until mixture boils. When mixture is at a full boil (it will be very bubbly!) time for 4 1/2 minutes. Stir constantly while timing.

4. Remove pan from heat and add vanilla, oats, and coconut. Quickly stir until the oats are completely covered with chocolate.

5. Drop mixture by teaspoons onto a sheet of waxed paper. Cookies will harden as they cool. Yummy!!

Additional Notes:

If cookies don’t set properly (i.e. fall apart or are still wet when completely cool), the sugar mixture wasn’t boiled long enough.

If cookies are too hard (or set up while still hot!) the sugar mixture was boiled too long.

If the dough starts setting up as you’re dropping the cookies onto the waxed paper, just stir a little water or milk into the remaining dough so that you can continue forming your cookies.

Preparation Time:

30 minutes

Tammy’s Review:

This is a really quick cookie recipe. These cookies are super sweet (more like candy, really!) and chocolate-y. I’ve been making these no-bake cookies for many years (ever since I was learning to cook as a child!) and they’re always enjoyed when we take them places. They’re easy to make, too! I always put coconut in ours. My rating: 10/10

The No bake cookies are great for kids. I think everyone should be able to try them without a doubt. Personally I have had a lot of people try the ones that I created. First time I tried it, I was astonished. My kids absoultly love the recipe that I have made with the cookies. I mean how did they even get that name? who would have ever thought that everyone should name these type of cookies no bake. I have seen a lot of people in food fairs that have this type of food. I have seen many ingredients that they have online. These ones are very good and some aren’t all that great. But who knows really. I have seen a lot of books that have

Large saucepan

Combine sugar

butter

milk

cocoa

salt. Bring to boil over medium heat, stirring frequently. Continue boiling 3 minutes, stirring frequently.

That one is pretty typical for the ways on preperation of the food. I suggest if you wanted the cookies that you put on the salt because if you don’t it will really be very sweet and lots of people will not like it at all. I have seen people just get these type of things. Chocolate chip cookies are good for any event. I have went to places where the cookies were in front of the resturant so you can take a sample. Hmm… anyone want to try
